Just look where you're going!

Seriously. Has it come to this? There is a street in London that supposedly has the most "texting while walking accidents" and therefore a charity called Living Streets has done this:


That's right. They are wrapping their lamp posts in padding to try and prevent the idiots that can't stop texting long enough to get to their destination safely from bumping their poor noggins. For Pete's sake people...nothing is that important! Or you know what? Just CALL the person that you are texting. That way you can walk and talk at the same time. But please don't try to chew gum while walking and talking, otherwise this charity is going to have to pay people to stand around giving out Heimlich maneuvers.
